When we reject a funding opportunity, the founder always asks the reasons why and we never give reasons. We feel we don’t have the right to discourage you or worse, send you in the wrong direction.
After all, we are ex entrepreneurs who got it right and sometimes wrong too! We don’t know your idea and the team as well as you do and if we reject you, it is generally because we don’t understand your idea or the market and we don’t have the internal expertise to support you moving forward. Adequation between what we fund and the team of principals’ skills is paramount at FRC as we really love to get involved with founders all along their long and difficult journey.
