Footwear has a detrimental effect on the environment. Made out of plastics and leather, 20 billion pairs were manufactured just in 2019!

That is why Miret have designed and created innovative sneakers that are kind to your feet as much as they are kind to the nature. By combining strongest natural fibres they were able to craft durable and comfortable sneakers, with a super low impact on nature – Miret sneakers are 97% ecological!

The company has spent 5 years in their journey of development, testing and manufacturing. In 2019 they launched their first Miret sneakers and sold 800 pairs. After receiving a lot of feedback, they launched their second generation of super ecological sneakers. Miret uses 10 different plants: hemp, kenaf, linen, cork, wood, corn, jute, eucalyptus natural latex and New Zealand wool to craft their Miret sneakers. Miret sneakers are soft and cosy from the moment you put them on. They are breathable, lightweight, flexible and will keep your feet happy during long walks.
