Fil Rouge Capital is a venture capital investment fund whose primary goal is to invest in young entrepreneurs, start-up and scale-up companies, as well as establishing a local entrepreneurial eco-system in Croatia.
Fil Rouge capital is pleased to announce that the Selection Day applications are now open.
The Selection Days will take place on July 15th and 16th at Algebra Lab in 242 Ilica Street, the fund’s operational headquarters.
During those two days the fund will choose top 20 start-up teams to join its autumn Acceleration program that will take place in Zagreb, Croatia.
The Program will start on September 2nd and will conclude on November 29th with a closed Demo Day for co-investors of Fil Rouge Capital.
FIL ROUGE CAPITAL SELECTION CRITERIA ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Fil Rouge Capital is looking to invest in fully committed and passionate founders with a compelling business concept or innovation. Minimum Viable Product (even a basic one) that provides a technical proof of concept is needed and startups with existing users or even paying customers will have priority.
Startups who also fit these criteria are the ones that need to develop the product and market approach in order to accelerate their growth and need a professional team to assist them.
They are determined to expand internationally and have a clear exit value, even if the exit path is not yet obvious. They will have to fulfill the Croatian eligibility criteria detailed in the application, and have a perfect command of English.
IF SELECTED, THE START-UPS GET:
Access to seminars lead by expert coaches, connections to Fil Rouge’s partners, mentors, potential customers, and the co-investor network and Fil Rouge Capital exclusive weekly Founder’s dinners.
The Accelerator package also entails privileged access to Fil Rouge Capital Venture Capital growth program, support with incorporation, opening a bank account and all needed support and help with reaching Croatian eligibility criteria as well as other support in Croatian business environment.
In exchange, Fil Rouge Capital is looking for 6-8% equity.
